Life Before the Meeting

1 minute · Narration, music, and subtitles

Shared meals, ordinary conversations, and Christ’s life finding expression before the meeting begins.

Transcript

I remember meals with families, prayer before practical conversations, and fellowship that continued in kitchens, cars, parks, and along the beach. The meetings mattered, but life together was happening before anyone arrived at a meeting. Those memories have stayed with me. Yet repeating those arrangements would not produce that life. We could open our homes and still depend entirely upon ourselves. The source means everything. The issue is Zoe, the life of God already ours in Christ. His life must supply the listening, the patience, the love, and the room we make for one another. What I long for is Christ finding expression among ordinary people, in ordinary hours. A shared meal. An honest conversation. His life becoming our living together.
